Showcasing some of our favorite Kirkland, Bellevue and Eastside projects.

The extensive remodel allows the home to claim a strong presence on the lake. Our home owners are happy with the solid design.

BEFORE: This 1960's era daylight rambler's location made it a prime candidate for this major redesign and remodel.

DURING: A third floor addition provides views for the new master suite and three bedrooms as well as an additional bathroom on that floor.

This newly configured entryway and staircase gives a clean, understated look. It features lyptus wood flooring, artisan iron handrails and a mixture of granite and natural stone tiles.

The kitchen/dining area was complete remodeled with structural changes that included removal of two walls to help connect the space to the main living area of the house.

The fully featured professional kitchen has solid maple cabinetry along with appliances and features that would satisfy any discerning chef.

Northwest Contemporary- Bellevue

Features include walnut cabinetry, toe-kick lighting, granite counter tops, mosaic glass backsplashes, heated floors and jetted tub surrounded with marble.

Removing walls and adding windows transformed this otherwise ordinary master bath into something special.

BEFORE: This dramatic bathroom remodel took place within the existing footprint of the bathroom.

BEFORE: Tub, tile and wallpaper all were dated and ready for replacement.

Traditional Bathroom – Lake Sammamish

Highlights include distressed painted cabinets, leaded glass fine tile, elegant stone counter tops and commercial grade appliances.

The extra deep old world style sink is both functional and graceful.

This custom stove hood hides a workhorse fan to please the most discerning chef. Luxurious cabinet details blend into the old world crafted back splash.

The intimate eating area provides a serene setting for gazing out into the newly landscaped terrace.5

BEFORE: This cramped kitchen with eating space sported plastic laminate, birch cabinets, one light fixture and vinyl flooring.

Traditional Kitchen – Sammamish

The scope of this project included rich wood finish details in every room. The expansive window wall, lantern style lighting and built-in cabinetry signal permanence and simplicity.

Throughout the home, gracefully crafted arches signal transitions between spaces. This set of arches, sit atop the kitchen’s pass-through to the dining room.

In this wine wall, each bottle rests in its place within the custom crafted cherry cabinetry. The room is climate controlled for optimal wine storage.

Complicated design elements come together at the stairway, banisters and newel posts. Mechanical fasteners are not used to support the railing or stairs; instead, highly engineered wooden mortise, tenons and pegs do the work.

Warmth radiates to the entire home from this highly crafted fireplace. On this wall, the massive stone masonry, heavy crown molding and hand-rubbed cherry wood mantle piece suggest permanence.

A close look at the craftsmanship of this mantle reveals why this project won an award in a national contest. The meticulous attention to scale, geometry and detail is seen in the entire project.

Old World Craftsman – Redmond/Bear Creek

Transitional by name, functional by design. This lakefront addition is versatile beyond measure. A serious workspace by day easily becomes a dramatic setting for wine tasting and jazz in the evening.

All the bells and whistles of the modern media experience are discreetly tucked into this sleek cherry cabinetry. Vaulted ceilings enhance the feeling of openness and modern timelessness.

French doors open expansively to the lake while an art glass piece above the platform bed adds a distinctive artisan signature common in Transitional designs.

The multiple step tub deck, relaxing colors, soft lighting and clean simple lines signal peace, relaxation and rejuvenation. Like many Transitional designs, this project has a common thread of Asian influence.

The contemporary styling of this dual vanity doesn't full reveal all its potential. it is lavish in size and practical in design. Cesarstone applications integrate other design elements of the home.

Hustle and bustle - imagine how stress free a morning could be in a well-designed bathroom space! Bathroom cabinetry can be tailored to specific needs with roll-outs, lifts and special lighting.

Transitional – Bellevue

We oriented the outdoor room to harness cool breezes for comfort on warmer days and extended a heavily articulated fir beam roof structure to provide protection from the elements on stormy days.

BEFORE: Our clients saw remarkable possibilities in this tri-level home. To fulfill their vision, the home went through extensive renovation and the addition of a unique outdoor living space.

BEFORE: The challenge of this project was to provide a plan that incorporated 21st century materials and old world craftsmanship inspired by turn-of-the century architects, Green and Green.

The designs of architects Green and Green set aside some of the characteristics of traditional Arts and Crafts design and strongly put forward values of geometry, symmetry and harmony - note the strong Japanese influence.

Outdoor cooking is a breeze with the convenient outdoor barbeque just steps from the kitchen. Golden Rock granite counter tops and back splashes are paired with cabinetry built to stand the weather and the test of time.

The rock facing on the masonry façade and pillars is manufactured stone material that will age as natural stone does. The ease of installation and extraordinary weather resistance make it the perfect choice.

Craftsman – Redmond/Bear Creek

We were asked to create and Outdoor Living Space that integrated with their newly remodeled craftsman kitchen. They wanted the kitchen to be just steps away from the BBQ and the party!

BEFORE: In design we wanted to avoid a flat roof structure, but had to adhere to the constraints of the pitch of the home's existing roofline.

The new structure is 400 sq. ft. with an 820 sq. ft. of artisan stamped concrete walkway. Above are twelve-foot cedar lined ceilings, dual venting sky lights and Bromic Platinum gas overhead heating units.

Crown molding with stacked detail compliments the craftsman column design. Each of the columns have four 4" x 4" stained cedar pillars, cement bases, applied stone and cedar caps.

A massive floor-to-ceiling masonry fireplace is the cornerstone of the space. It is faced with Eldorado Stone. Mechanical venting installed within the chimney stack accommodates the reviled BBQ smoke.

Railing at the porch was a specialty order. It was chosen to represent turn-of-the-century design industrial aesthetic, particular to craftsman design.

Craftsman Outdoor Living – Kirkland

Prior to start, the design themes were narrowed to focus on the colors gold and purple, with a mix of contemporary, traditional and rustic features. The client wanted features that were exquisite and highly crafted.

Demo begins to create this highly specialized Master Bathroom Suite and spa retreat.

Throughout the space there is an interplay of natural and crafted materials. The granite used on this project was chosen for the beautiful veins of quartz, purple and gold, that our clients loves.

Prior to start, the design themes were narrowed to focus on the colors gold and purple, with a mix of contemporary, traditional and rustic features.

Two spaces flank the small vanity fulfilling a meditative and practical purpose. To the left is a large wardrobe with a library ladder railing system for easy access. To the right is a raised loft for resting and reading.

The walls and ceiling of this room are lined with cedar planking found throughout the space. This feature creates the sense of being enveloped that our client was aiming for.
