Innovative Interiors

The owner desired more room.  A room that served dual purposes, a room for meditation and also a room that provided a second sleeping area for visiting guests.  The 1100sf home provided little room for movement, the small lot had no room for external additions and an upper floor addition would push the budget over the owners limit.  The solution was in the attic.

Chermak created a new appearance for this owner's fireplace.  During demolition, two original leaded glass windows were discovered.  This not only provided a fresh look and feel to the living space, but added light and maintained the historic character of the home.

It's all in the details.

Spectacular Kitchens

This original kitchen showed great promise.  The Asian inspired motif within the home was carried through to this new pristine kitchen.

This Redmond home was divided into three small and inefficient rooms.  By removing four walls and installing hidden beams, the small cube sized rooms became an expansive Great Room allowing for the entertaining of family and friends.  New painted cabinetry throughout created continuity through the kitchen and family rooms.  Granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and new hardwood floors transformed this home into a living masterpiece and an entertainer’s dream space.

Bathroom Renovations

Elegantly simplistic. A perfect example of a modern home with sophisticated lines.  The bathroom was updated while maintaining the minimalist style.  Custom bathroom fixtures accentuate the technologically advanced lifestyle.  Eye-catching features of the master bath include a jetted-tub, custom showerheads and a backlit mirror.

Exterior Makeovers

This Northend home was designed with a "sunroom" over the garage. The owners chose to extend their living room and gain a more usable space.  New siding and paint adds to the fresh update.

A garage and soundproof music room were added on to this home.  The exterior was finished in a colonial style in keeping with the neighborhood look and feel.

When this couple had purchased their home it had been configured as a duplex. They had rented the upstairs space for ten years while living on the ground level, but had decided they no longer wanted to continue in this arrangement. Knowing that the home had once been a single-family dwelling, they decided to convert the home back to its historic layout.
